10-11-10

Congratulations to SF Giants for their Win tonight!!! Hope your luck holds!!! We had a great time in Cooperstown, NY. We went out to Doubleday Field! WOW now I understand why they call it the Birthplace of Baseball. Just the stands alone give you a sense of History. This is a really beautiful area. We are closing on our trip to Upstate NY and am going to miss it---Until that 1st snowflake... you can keep the thousands of inches of snow you get here and keep it to our low minimal Cave Junction, Or --to maybe 6 - 12 inches a year. Let the mountains have it!!!! Go play in the snow!!!
Back to Doubleday Field, On Display is the Home Plate used in the last game played on Sept. 29, 1957 by the NY Giants and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Anyway on our last night here guess what It's Raining what a Surprise!!!!! Hope it clears up. Just want to reflect on our time here in Upstate NY with the wonderful memories we will take with us. We had so much fun with Pat, Dennis and that "Craaaaazyzy Werner Cedar Swamp Homestead. Kurt sorry we missed your family ----or maybe you kept them away from this crazy part of you wife's side of the family mmmmmmmmm We had a great time love you all !!!! Corey we will meet you someday soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok goodnight for now Off to BAWSTON!!!!!! They really sound like that. At least the Sox are grounded....I bought the best t-shirt today about the sox and Yankees but Due to my safety heading into sox tertitory I better wait.... heee heee heee!!!!
