I have to catch up! Well we had a pretty eventful day today. We went to Notre Dame--Wow that campus is beautiful. We were there on a regular school day so all the students were everywhere- then they were gone!!! There is a Football game tomorrow so we couldn't get into the stadium, Bob kept trying- But NO can't get in there. His lonely picture of the field where the players come running out is as close as he got... like a little boy trying so hard but they kept him out!!! Next weekend Notre Dame plays Stanford, not sure who they are playing tomorrow, but they had tents and bbq's set up would be alot of fun I'm sure. Just found out it is Michigan State and not a home game. The campus is huge, I bet we walked about 5 miles today, and the Church was soooooo Beautiful. My camera does not work good in dim areas and the pictures just do not come out as seen in real life. The Holy water is heated in this beautiful fountain when you walk through the doors, Museum can't take picutres, but they have relics and GOLD! Whew !! back from Napolean days. The gentleman we spoke with today said they have the jewels insured for 18 million but I bet It's worth more than that. Really beautiful collection!!! Clothing from Popes, and founding fathers of Notre Dame, We are getting alot of history lessons!!!! You should see the pipe organ WOW HUGE! That would be something special to hear!
We had lunch at Legends, which is a campus restaurant, Really cool football history in there.
After Notre dame Bob wanted to go to the Football Hall of Fame. This Display is right over by Notre Dame and is going to be here through 2012. Lots of old Football history. i am saving a special part for the next segment of the Blog that shows how Old Bob really is!!! Love you Honey!!!! But you told me! So I have to report the facts!!! Just a few pics tonight. We are off to Ohio tomorrow MARLA yeee haw!!! But not till Sunday!! Have to rest up girl!!! Can't wait to see you!!! Somehow I lost 3 hours time!!! Where has this time gone We are having a BLAST!!!!
